Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern use of the KLDS 2026 website and all participation, registration and strategic collaboration submissions. By using the website or submitting a form, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. If submitting for an organisation or another participant, you confirm that you have authority to bind or represent them for the submission.
Event Information
KLDS 2026 is scheduled for 13–15 November 2026 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur. Programme content, speakers, activities, venue areas, operating hours, booth layout and access arrangements may be adjusted where reasonably required. Published previews are provisional until officially confirmed by MRM.
Registration and Eligibility
- All submitted information must be complete, current and accurate.
- A submission reference confirms receipt only; it does not guarantee acceptance, booth allocation, programme placement or collaboration benefits.
- MRM may request clarification, supporting documents or corrections before making a decision.
- Acceptance remains subject to eligibility, availability, payment or approved purchase-order arrangements, programme relevance and official confirmation.
- MRM may reject, suspend or cancel a submission containing false, misleading, incomplete, duplicated or unauthorised information.
Booths, Programmes and Allocations
Booth and programme selections are requests until officially confirmed. Layouts, booth numbers and placements may change for safety, technical, operational or venue reasons. Where a requested allocation becomes unavailable, MRM may propose a reasonable alternative.
Participants must use allocated areas only for approved activities and comply with setup, dismantling, access, safety, branding and venue instructions issued by MRM or the venue.
Fees, Invoices and Payment
- Applicable fees are those officially stated in the registration form, brochure, quotation, invoice or written confirmation.
- Early-bird pricing applies only when its stated conditions and deadline are met.
- Strategic collaboration payment must be made only after an official invoice or written confirmation is issued.
- Uploading payment evidence, an LO or purchase order does not itself confirm payment or participation. All documents remain subject to administrative verification.
- Bank charges, taxes or statutory amounts not expressly included are the responsibility of the paying organisation where applicable.
- Payment must use the reference and account information stated in the official instructions or invoice.
Changes, Withdrawal and Refunds
Requests to change or withdraw a registration must be submitted promptly in writing to the Secretariat. Any refund, credit, substitution or transfer is subject to the applicable written package terms, costs already committed, third-party charges and MRM’s written approval.
If KLDS 2026 is postponed, relocated, materially changed or cancelled due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, MRM will communicate the available arrangements. MRM is not responsible for independent travel, accommodation, logistics or other third-party costs unless expressly agreed in writing.
Strategic Collaboration
Strategic collaboration levels, benefits and activation opportunities are subject to official confirmation, full payment, programme relevance, protocol requirements, availability and timely submission of approved materials. MRM may reasonably adapt a benefit or activation where programme, venue, safety or operational requirements make the original arrangement impracticable.
Submitted Materials and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of materials you submit. You grant MRM a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to reproduce, resize, format, display and distribute approved names, logos, descriptions, images and promotional materials solely for KLDS 2026 administration, publication, promotion, reporting and archival purposes.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required for all submitted material and that its use will not infringe another party’s rights. MRM may decline or remove material that is unlawful, misleading, inappropriate, technically unsuitable or inconsistent with the event.
Conduct, Safety and Event Media
Participants must behave professionally and comply with applicable law, safety instructions, venue rules and reasonable directions from authorised event personnel. Harassment, unsafe conduct, unlawful promotion, infringement and disruption may result in removal or cancellation without prejudice to other rights.
Photography, audio or video recording may occur in public event areas for documentation, publicity and reporting. Where practical, inform the Secretariat in advance of a specific safety, confidentiality or accessibility concern.
Electronic Communications and Signatures
You agree that forms, declarations, typed or drawn signatures, uploaded signature files, notices and confirmations may be created and exchanged electronically. You are responsible for safeguarding access to your e-mail account, registration reference and uploaded documents, and for notifying the Secretariat promptly of suspected misuse.
Website Availability and Responsibility
We aim to keep the website accurate and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, internet failures, third-party services or events outside reasonable control may affect operation.
To the extent permitted by law, MRM is not liable for indirect, consequential or third-party losses arising from website interruption, reliance on provisional information or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy, Governing Law and Updates
Personal data is handled as described in the KLDS 2026 Privacy Policy. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts unless another written agreement applies.
MRM may update these terms where reasonably required. The version published when you submit a registration generally applies to that submission, subject to mandatory law and any later written agreement.
